Events — Where a Banked Dice Stack Becomes Real Value

Dice Dreams runs overlapping timed events almost every day, and each one has a different rhythm. The single biggest skill in the game is not rolling — it is recognising which event is live and deciding whether to spend now or save for it. This guide covers the recurring archetypes and how to approach each. (Exact timings and rewards rotate constantly, so confirm in-app.)

Recurring Event Types

Filter by Type

Tap a filter to see how to play each event type. Cards are the archetypes that keep returning in new wrappers.

Race

Point Race

Race other players to a points target within a window. Points come from your rolls, so it rewards a stacked dice reserve spent all-in. Only commit if you have enough banked dice to reach your tier before the clock runs out — a partial push is mostly wasted.

Tournament

Timed Coin Tournament

Leaderboard on coins collected in a fixed period. The big rewards sit in the top tiers, so it is all-or-nothing. Bet high (coins scale with bet — see the bet guide) and spend only if you can realistically climb into a paying tier.

Team / Co-op

Team Event

Progress is pooled across a team to unlock shared milestones. Your contribution matters, but so does the group's pace — joining an active team ahead of time (see the team guide) is worth more than rolling harder once the event has started.

Collection

Collect & Earn

Event items drop from normal rolls and unlock tiered rewards as you gather them. Because it stacks on ordinary play, this is the most forgiving event type — you can progress at a steady bet without draining a reserve, and it still returns dice.

Collection

Card / Set Event

A specific card set becomes worth bonus rewards for the window. Cards you already hold from that set jump in trading value — check your surplus against the active set before the event opens and trade it while demand is highest.

Boost

Attack & Raid Boosts

Windows where attacks and raids return extra coins or points. This is when a banked reserve converts into real value: spend during the boost (see the attack guide), and hold your shields so a boosted opponent does not take the pile back.

Boost

Coin / Dice Multiplier Days

Periods where payouts are increased across the board. The cheapest, safest event to engage: just roll normally and let the multiplier raise the value of every roll. Time your expensive castle final levels into these.

The Banking Habit

Core Skill

Almost every event above pays a multiple on dice you would have rolled anyway — the difference is whether you had a stack saved when it opened.

Bank two to three days ahead

The strongest windows return double or triple per roll. Start saving a few days before a known event so you can go all-in during it, rather than trickling dice in after it has already opened.

Match bet to the event type

Coin tournaments want a high bet. Point and card races that count triggers want a low bet. Check what the event scores before you set the multiplier — the calculator shows the roll/coin trade-off.

Skip the weak windows

Not every event is worth a reserve. A small collection event that just stacks on normal play rarely justifies emptying a stack — save the big push for the race or boost that actually pays out.

Always check events first

Before spending a stack for any reason, open the events tab. If something boosted is live, spending into it can double the value of the exact same dice. This one habit is worth more than any other tip on the site.

Three Questions Before You Commit a Stack

Checklist

Every event is answerable in under a minute from the in-app description. What does it score — coins, triggers, attacks or collection? Because that decides your bet. When does it end — can your reserve be spent in time? And what does the next tier cost — is one more milestone still paying well, or are you past the steep part? A stack that passes all three goes in confidently; one that fails any of them gets banked for the following window instead. Reserving is only wasted when the next good event is months away, and in this rotation it rarely is.
